My Latest Project
My latest project is a series of articles that'll appear in Japan Today on Japanese Culture and society. Please go here for a list of stories in the pipeline or a list of stories that have already been published.
My focus is on changing Japanese society. Changes over the past decade alone have been enormous. The disaster of 3/11 has also created both anxiety as to what lies in store in the future, as well as the sense of a "paradigm shift", yet no clarity where it will lead to. Japan no doubt has many challenges ahead of it, and the stories will look at the way Japan is evolving as a culture and society while addressing its problems. Lessons learned from the past, as well as a wide variety of people's vision visions of the future will be considered.
Currently I have three articles under research, all which include interesting interviews offering a wide variety of perspectives on a wide variety of issues.
